January is in full swing now and we are already looking forward to the year ahead. We have plenty of travel booked to keep us occupied and to fulfill our lust for adventure. We wanted to share our list of travel with you to show you what exciting stories and adventures we are going to have this year. All of these destinations will be featured on the blog this year (how exciting?!) Below is a list of our travel for the first 7 months of the year (Wooh!!) We are excited to share our journeys with you and hope that throughout the year you enjoy reading about them. So here we go….

Edinburgh

The first destination for 2017 and our first time to the land of Scotland! We have heard from many people that Edinburgh is a must see, full of great culture, beautiful scenery and fun people. It is going to be a short visit for us and we are ready for the cold weather (I have bought some waterproof boots also!), but we are very excited to see what this little city has to offer.

Amsterdam

Bryan has been to Amsterdam with family before but this will be a first time there for myself. I have heard that Amsterdam is a wonderful city with great culture, scenery and a relaxed scene which is what I am really looking forward to. With Meandering canals and the best pancakes (so we heard) I am sure our time there will be wonderful.

Brussels

Brussels was randomly decided for a quick city break during Bryan’s week off work! The flights were cheap and the hotel reasonable so we though, why not? The country famous for its chocolate, (Bryan loves Chocolate) we are really looking forward to seeing what the capital city has to offer! 

Madrid

Another new city this year as we head to Madrid for some sunshine. The city has amazing architecture and we also heard about the great food. We are excited to go somewhere with great weather and scenery.  With plenty of palaces and amazing architecture, many people have said it’s a city that should not be missed. We can’t wait to share our photos with you so make sure you are checking out our Instagram for extra photos of our trips!

London

We have been here many times before and absolutely love this city. As its only about an hour and 30 minutes away from us by plane we thought it would be a perfect time to go back and explore the city further as it’s so big, we have not seen everything. The city is a great place for sights and shopping so if you have not been before we highly recommend. We will have a very detailed post on this trip when we come back as we have been so many times and will include best sights, favourite restaurants and so on.

Frankfurt

For those of you who do not know (I have posted about this on Instagram and facebook!) we are off to see Coldplay in Frankfurt this year and are very excited. It’s our first time to the city and also seeing a concert outside of Ireland so we are quite excited about this trip. If you have any restaurant recommendations do share, we can’t wait to see this cool German City.

South Africa

The biggest trip of them all is our trip to Cape Town in South Africa this year. We are so excited about this trip and are planning a lot, from tours, restaurants, safari and everything else in between. It’s our biggest trip this year so far, and we are very excited to be finally having an adventure on the African Continent.  We are also considering vlogging this trip to show you the amazing scenery and help you have a visual on our experience so we will keep you posted on that also.

We do have a number of other destination ideas for the second half of the year, but they have not been fully decided, however, we will keep you posted on this after our trip to South Africa.
